With this chain wear indicator you can quickly and accurately determine the wear of your bicycle chain. Because the checker has graduations, it works much more precisely than regular chain checkers that only display 0.75 mm and 1.0 mm indications.
Place the measuring pins between two links of the chain and then press the wear indicator. Based on the value opposite the line, you immediately know whether your chain is still OK or whether it needs to be replaced. The indicated value shows how many millimeters the chain has become longer over the distance between the two measuring pins. It is best to replace the chain when the reading is 0.75 mm. If the value is higher than 0.75 mm, it is advisable to also replace the cassette or freewheel.
